We all know the magic sound of slamming cinema seats that can be heard just before the screening starts.
Cinema seats play a role just as important as the movie itself does, but they are designed and constructed in a way that often makes us forget about them. However, a badly made seat is enough to completely ruin even something as great as an Oscar production.
This was the idea we had while creating the KINO collection.
It’s functional, very durable, and works great in public spaces such as clubs, cafes and hotels.
The collection consists of a sofa, an armchair, a round table, a rectangular table, chairs and a bench.
While designing KINO, we were inspired by the achievements of Theo van Doesburg and the De Stijl group.
The unique aesthetics of the furniture from the ’70s also had a great impact on its final form. What was important for us was the use of noble materials and extremely solid craftsmanship.
The KINO collection consists of brilliant second-plan actors, as you and the people you meet with should play the main role.
